Privacy Policy

Viral Video Maker is built around a simple idea: you shouldn't need an account to use it. There is no sign-up, no password, and no profile. This policy explains the small amount of data we do handle, and why.

1. What we collect

• An anonymous device identifier. On first launch the App generates a random ID stored on your device. It is not derived from your hardware, phone number, or any personal detail, and it is the only identity we have for you. Your projects, generated videos, schedules and credit balance are linked to it.
• Your email address — only if you choose to give it. Email is optional and used solely for notifications you request (video ready, schedule delivered, credits low) and purchase confirmations. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe that also deletes the address from our systems.
• Subscription state. When you subscribe, Google Play processes the payment. We receive a purchase token and subscription status from Google so we can grant your credits. We never see your card details, name, or billing address.
• The content you create. Project names, keywords, saved prompts, reference images you upload, your video prompts, and the videos we generate for you are stored on our servers so the App can show them back to you.

2. What we don't collect

• No name, phone number, contacts, or location.
• No advertising identifiers and no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
• No access to your TikTok or other social accounts — trend data comes from publicly available TikTok surfaces, not from your account.

3. How generation works with third parties

When you generate a video, the prompts and reference images involved are processed by the AI providers that power the pipeline:

• OpenRouter (routing to Google's Gemini models) — writes the scene script from your prompt and project settings.
• Replicate (running OpenAI's GPT Image and ByteDance's Seedance models) — renders the frames and animates the video.
• Resend — delivers the optional notification emails described above.

These providers process the content needed to fulfil your request under their own terms and do not receive your device identifier or email from us alongside it.

4. Retention & deletion

• Generated videos, projects and settings are kept while you use the App so your library keeps working.
• Unused credits expire per the in-app rollover policy; the underlying ledger is retained for accounting.
• You can request deletion of everything tied to your device at any time — see Data deletion. We complete deletion requests within 30 days.
• Uninstalling the App removes the device identifier from your phone; server-side data is deleted on request as above.

5. Legal bases & your rights

We process the data above to provide the service you request (contract), to keep it secure and bill correctly (legitimate interest), and — for optional emails — with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your data; contact us and we will honour them.

6. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age your country requires), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Security

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Media and database access are restricted to signed, expiring links and authenticated infrastructure.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and note the new effective date above.
